Service dog Echo decides the sink is her bed

Traveling with dogs may require some extra packing and planning, but bringing your furry friend along on adventures is always worth it. Some dogs thrive on road trips, while others would rather rest in hotel rooms, but one resourceful Australian Shepherd found a way to make his family's Airbnb all his own.

@Embracingecho is a service dog who helps his mom notice and manage symptoms of epilepsy and vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, so he gets to travel everywhere she does. Needless to say, he's a very good boy, but he gave his family a scare and a surprise when they woke up to find him sleeping in the strangest spot in their Airbnb rental.

Leave it to a dog to throw a curveball before their mom is even awake! Echo may be a well-behaved service dog who can hone in on his mom's medical concerns before she can, but he's also just a dog who wants nothing more than to get comfy and eat yummy snacks. Both sides of him are oh-so-lovable!

"I absolutely love him," commented @emarie_1115, "he needs to live forever, OMG. This dog is so beautiful." From his piercing eyes to his unbothered attitude, it's hard to resist that precious (and famous) dog for long.

Nevertheless, Echo's family is determined to help him sleep comfortably, even if that means giving up their Airbnb sink. That's a small price to pay for a healthy, happy dog! If I were the owner of that property, it would be even more special knowing it was this canine celebrity's favorite place to sleep.

For some pet parents, taking their dogs on a trip is easier than boarding them at home or in a kennel. Besides, many dogs enjoy travelling, too! Exploring new environments can be just as stimulating for a dog's brain as it is for their body, and besides, who said dogs should miss out just because they're animals?

There are more ways than ever to travel with dogs, though preparing for random makeshift beds in hotel room sinks is easier said than done. Fortunately, Echo didn't damage anything on the counter, and he got a full night's sleep regardless of his bizarre sleeping spot.
